Spalding Pro Select SPGK-31 Pitcher / Infield Glove | Red | RHT

A distinctive piece of Spalding glove history, this red Pro Select SPGK-31 was imported from Japan and manufactured in China. Its fully closed web and pitcher / infield design make it an interesting option for a right-handed thrower looking for something outside the usual lineup.

Hardball designation, Nanshiki-like feel

The SPGK-31 model number identifies a hardball glove. In The Glove Box’s professional opinion, however, this individual glove feels closer to a Nanshiki rubber-ball glove. We consider it suitable for both hardball and rubber-ball baseball, while keeping that assessment distinct from its original model designation.

Condition and break-in

Pre-owned with very little use and in excellent condition. This glove is not fully broken in and will need further shaping and break-in to develop the pocket and closure to your preferences. It is not being represented as fully game-ready.

A cool piece of Spalding history with plenty of break-in left for its next owner.
